On March 22, 2017, Atlanta’s NPR-affiliated station, WABE, featured the “Songs Not Silenced” concert –  devoted to the music of composers whose music was banned by the Nazis – at Kennesaw State University. Lois Reitzes, the moderator of City Lights, a program devoted to the coverage of Atlanta’s cultural life, interviewed Laurence Sherr, professor and composer-in-residence at KSU’s School of Music, and David W.
